Together with the Sunshine deep heavy baking dish it is excellent for baking Christmas pudding, Bread & Butter pudding, pie and many more. Using two of the five burners the convection created moves fast hot air past the food. This action gives the barbecue oven the ability to operate at a lower temperature than a standard oven and yet cook food more quickly. Also, the air circulation tends to eliminate "hot spots" and thus cook food more evenly. Made of high quality rolled steel, the hood is antique steel finished and comes complete with a thermometer. Note that the griddle plate should be removed when the barbecue is used as a convection oven. This hood may have slight scratch & dent but functions normal.

This is a grease drip tray for Legend 5000 and 5500. It catches all the grease dripped off your bbq and keep your trolley clean. This tray can be easily cleaned with a brush and dish detergent. (Note : Drip tray illustrated on image is a Legend 4500)

The cast Iron flame tamer controls the flame on your barbecue while simultaneously distirbuting a longer lasting heat. The flame tamer sits between the burners and the cooking plates. Not suitable for the Horizon BBQs.

This briquette plate sits under the chargrill plate and is host to the briquettes. It is a unique heat distribution medium that gives an even heat over the entire cooking area and reduces 'flare-up'. The heavy plate is made of cast iron and design to retain and regulate heat for better barbecuing results. It suits the PatioMate 2 and Heritage2/200 models and is also a good replacement to the lava rock tray and lava rocks used in earlier Sunshine 2 burner models.
